#Enough Movement

On Wednesday, March 14, 2018, students of Argo Community High School who are supporting the #Enough movement will walk out and host a 17-minute memorial for the students of Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.

Students who choose to walk out can exit through the pass gate or door 17 and make their way to the football field where the memorial will be held.

In an effort to support students 1st amendments rights while also promoting and ensuring school safety, the administration of Argo Community High School has set up the following accommodations:

On Tuesday March 13, 2018, an #ENOUGH discussion table well be available to students in the Café during lunch hours. Students will be able to discuss the topic and make posters to support the walk out with their personal message. Students are encouraged to make a poster or a sign during their lunch or study hall period. Poster paper and markers will be made available and all posters will be hung in the café until the next day.

On Wednesday March 14, 2018, the discussion tables will be available in the Performing Arts Center from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. for any students who were not able to attend during lunch hours on Tuesday.

The bell schedule for Wednesday has been adjusted to accommodate the student walk out. Classes have been shortened slightly to allow a 30-minute study hall between 1st period and 2nd period.

Students who do not want to participate in the walk out can proceed to their 2nd period class for a 30-minute study hall.
