Attention Parents!
Argo is part of the NSLP (National School Lunch Program) and those are the rules and regulations we normally operate our food service program. However, last year the district received a waiver and was allowed to operate under the SFSP (Summer Food Service Program) which provided students and the community with meals at no cost. This year the USDA has made the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) an option for Argo and we will be operating under these rules and regulations for the 2021-22 school year. The USDA’s intention in allowing SSO for the regular school year is to keep meals at no cost for all of our students and to return to the NSLP meal pattern.  Therefore, all students will be provided meals at no cost.  A la Carte items will not initially be made available at the start of the school year, but introduced eventually dependent on attendance as we insure we keep out food loss to a minimum. Once ala carte items are introduced, the Cafeteria will be going “Cash Free”, so students and parents will be asked to put money “on-account” with the Mealtime POS system if they wish to purchase additional items. You can access the Mealtime POS system here!
