Superintendent's Message

As we embark upon the launch of an educational journey, we as a community must adapt to and overcome the obstacles that may project doubt. Reverend Wheeler Parker, a distinguished alumnus of Argo Community High School and the class of 1958, created in the realm of student government a standard for the students in school: "ALL RIGHTS GRANT OTHERS (ARGO)." This expectation held true in times of upheaval and change that faced Argo Community High School. As a student of Argo in the late 1990's, this was the standard for all Argonauts to follow. We at District 217 believe that ALL RIGHTS are GRANTED to OTHERS, no matter what ethnicity, orientation, ability, or aptitude an individual has.

We look at this process with reverence and perseverance, as our functioning outlook to the district is to “Make Every Day Count” while we are all “SAILING ON TO VICTORY”!  This rings true to our mission statement that we always make every day count by inspiring, educating, and empowering students to envision and achieve a positive future for themselves and their community.  #I AM ARGO!
