Find the DIRECT OBJECT and type it in the blank. It needs to be spelled correctly. You can copy and paste it to be sure you don't make a mistake. Type NONE if there are no direct objects. Remember to apply the test--yesterday, right now, tomorrow--to find the verb first. Then determine whether or not the verb is action or linking. If action, then there might be a direct object. If the verb is linking, put NONE because there will be no direct object.
